Dr. Zaheen's husband is presently employed by the Department of Defense Language Institute. They have two children, a son and a daughter. Her son has graduated from the University of Redlands with a degree in Psychology. Her daughter is attending UC Davis and is majoring in Bio Medical Engineering and Pre-Med.
