Dr. Kulkarni tries to work with patients and be proactive about prevention before disease onset and prevention of complications after diagnosis. "I educate my patients and have them play an active role in their healthcare."

Dr. Kulkarni's husband works at Children's Hospital of Central California in the Pediatric Emergency Room and CMP Pediatrics. They have one son and one daughter. During her free time Dr. Kulkarni likes to go running and enjoys reading, singing, and dancing.
